Beta Event #5 - Part 2

And we're back ... after a short break. Here's LadyB amongst the 'SHROOOOOOOOOOOOMS I like so much. ;O))



I got a closer shot of that bubble Gokuu was looking at. This is as close as you can get. Why, you ask? Cuz they, for some oddball reason, do NOT include swimming physics in this game!!! If you go too far out in deep water ... you sustain DAMAGE!!! >:O( I hope this is something they will change. *NODS*



LadyB's new shield.



*sniffles* Poor Tutty. This was some guy's pet big that the evil dudes captures and roasted on a spit. Your quest was to find out what happened to poor Tutty and report back. *sniffles*




You know what this means? It means it's time for LadyB's second cut-scene that will lead to her Daeva Ascension! WOOT!














Ouch. That looked like it HURT. Anyway, for the Warrior Class, the subclasses you can choose from are Gladiator and ... uhh ... *flips through her mental notes ... but really has to go back to the main website to check* ... Templar! Ah yes. Templar. :O)) The Gladiator focuses on kicking ass ("... they're designed to be masters of all weapon types and focus on dealing out a high levels of DPS, both single target and AoE."). The Templar helps to heal ya while also being able to kick ass ("...he true tanks of the game, designed to be able to dish out damage while using defensive and healing spells that allow them to take a beating it return."). Since I'm a fan, I went with ... AOE ALL THE WAY, BABY (i.e., I let LadyB be a Gladiator)!!!





Prior to full Daeva Ascension, she destroyed the Abyss gate.




And got the hat to prove it.



I like how it makes it seem as though she put her hair up so the hat would look nice. :O)) It's the little details, y'know?

One last quest to turn in before she heads to the Elyos capitol - Sanctum ... to become a full-fledged Daeva.




And here's the cat-eared girl to greet us upon our arrival in Sanctum. Let's watch the event unfold:

Check her out with her wings unfurled and her new kick-ass Polearm to kick ass with (one of the three things she was allowed to choose from the Warrior trainer for Gladiators ... it was this or a big-ass, two-handed sword or a not so big-ass one-handed sword). :O))

I would now like to take you on a brief tour of Sanctum. This city is HUGE! Much more huge than Pandaemonium. It's so huge that it has ships that take you from one part of the city to another ... and there are also TRANSPORTATION statues that will do the same. Can you BELIEVE that?! Anyway, the tour:








Yup ... teleportation statue.






Elevator go UP.



Elevator go DOWN. Check out the gravity physics on the cape as the elevator descends. :O)



It's hard to see in this shot, but she's standing on glass. The glass is the only thing keeping her from plummeting to her death ... since the city is floating in the sky ... very, very, very HIGH UP in the sky.








Here's one of the many boats that can take you around to another part of Sanctum. Do NOT look down.

I LOVE THE POLEARM!!



I think the bottom part of the polearm is buried in the sand. O__o



Kicking ass ROCKS!!



Funny thing about the polearm. In a shot that I missed taking, she was actually holding the polearm in her hands. And it looked as though she was having a hard time flying and holding the polearm ... it was like she was being bogged down. :O) Just thought I'd share that. :O))



Scary cut-scene ... :O) At the end of it, this beastie attacks the "camera guy" ... and is right in yer face! :O))



And as the last shot, LadyB's new headgear. :O)) I hope you enjoyed the coolness as much as I did. Can't wait to play again in two weeks!
