I broke it up into two parts so folks won't be overwhelmed. :O))
Aina - BAD ASS WARRIOR CHICK!!
She's kinda scary. :O))
More chillin' by Aer's toon and mine ... as we wait for Keth to arrive.
But I did see a boat flying overhead while we waited for her return.
Switching gears, we went back to our toons on Triniel (our Elyos toons). And Keth decided that she wanted to give the Ranger class another try (as she didn't really jive with her ranger in closed beta). This masked little lady is Bribri! :O)) The one in the helmet is Valadhiel. :O)) Hehe.
Here's a better shot of her in her cool helmet ... and her new shoulder pad. It clashes with the green a bit though. HA!
Does anyone else find her face creepy with the DP glow?
Distance makes it better.
Check out her big-ass sword!
She and the two others have ascended and she has chosen the path of Templar. I have come to the conclusion that for both the Gladiator and the Templar, it's best to stick with one-handed weapons so you can use a shield. Otherwise, many skills go unused.
I'm totally digging this shot.
And here I am playing with Anjel again. I'm tickled that they have the physics mostly right with the way folks stand on stuff. Sure, sometimes they're floating a few inches above the object they're supposedly standing on, but ... the gist is there. :O))
And we're back with the 3 Musket-less-teer Ladies. :O)) Do we FRIGHTEN you? No? Aer's pink dress kinda ruins the effect we were going for. *nods* *LOL*
Knock 'em dead, Val. Just SLAY 'em! *SNICKERS*
This is the first time I noticed this (or acknowledged it). In the Veteron Citadel, if you look up at the sky, you can see Asmodae! :O)) Looks kinda like an alien space craft hovering above the land. :O))
All Hail Princess Aeronwy! :Op :O))
Heh. We got a quest to restore this statue's head. He was very appreciative ... before the head disappeared again. *LOL*
Armadillo squirrels!
Oops! Wrong end! *snickers*
A 4-eyed, 4-horned Ram. *boggles*
Valadhiel admiring the view.
It's a little foggy/cloudy way up here, but it is a nice view.
I can't recall why I took this shot. :O))
But doesn't Val look sex-hay in her armor and with her DP glow?
More rain. :O)
This is a sacred, holy ground type place. The light coming outta this thing makes everyone look weird (especially the eyes ... sorry, no picture of the freaky eyes for you to see).
"I'm a bird, I'm a bird, I'm a bird!" :O))
We three tried to do some of the Krall quests at the tender age of ... 17. It didn't work very well. :Op So we tried to find other quests that we COULD do.
This new helmet of Val's ... reminds me of something ... someone ... *thinks* ...
Bribri looks cute in her new hat.
We are at the Veteron Observatory. We managed to get to level 18 (though it was rough going ... as we did managed to do ONE of the Krall quests where we could stay to the outskirts to kill certain guys that we needed to drop icons). So now we are able to do the quests in this zone. YIPPEE!!
Let's hunt some crabs.
We tried doing more Krall quests ... with similar results.
Another love-er-ly view.
This is me after Aer logged on Sunday evening. We're all at level 19 (except Aer, but she was SO CLOSE). We surely could have hit 20 if not for the severe lag on Friday and Saturday, the server downtime on Saturday with the patch update ... and some server downtime on Sunday. :Op
Anyway, I'm huntin' crabs to test out Val's new level 3 chain skill! WOOT!
This move is the 3rd move (level 3 move).
Level 2 ... level 3 ...
Level 1 ... 2 ... 3 (at the end of 3 anyway after the jump in the air you see in the previous images! TOTALLY COOL!!!
GORGEOUS!!
Umm ... aside from the weirdness that is Val's legs, this is a great shot. =__=;;
From the other side of Val (without the weird leg shot).
Yay! I caught the giant, flying Manta Ray on camera! :O)))
And here's a shot without Val's big head in the way.
Val, chillin' before I decided it was time for me to go to bed. Open beta, aside from the terrible lag, and the downtime, was awesome! It was great playing with Aer and Keth. And I'm ecstatic to report that Aer and her hubby have decided to give the game a try when it launches. WOOO!!
Once the game goes live ... I don't know if I'll take as many pictures as I did for closed and open beta for this blog, but ... if I do, you'll be hearing from me again. Until then ...
Death to the Balaur!!
The Beginning
