Beta Event #6 - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Closed Beta Event #6! I'm just going to jump right into it, if you don't mind. :O)

I've been working like a mad woman to keep Maladhiel's collecting skill (vitality extraction) skill up because you do run into the occasional quest where you have to collect something for someone ... and for certain things you have to be at a certain collecting skill level in order to collect the item. I will keep that in mind for Open Beta and for Launch. *nods*

I have NOT, however, been working like a mad woman on her Alchemy (which in the Live game will be her PRIMARY crafting), but she's not too badly off in this skill.

That's a long way down. She's currently in Pandaemonium ... and she's visiting a section of the city she's never been to before.

It has one helluva view!

I thought it was neat, so I took a picture. This is a landing pad for some sort of elevator/transport-floaty-thingy. :O)

I am totally in love with Aion's graphics. *nods*

I'm once again attempting to show you with still-shots about the flight transportation. It really does NOT compare to anything in WoW when one is taking a flight from one location to another. SERIOUSLY. If you have trouble with traveling - you get vertigo and get dizzy and whatnot, you WILL get dizzy sometimes watching this flight. It really is NOT like flying in WoW - not at all. It frustrates me that I can't really show you what it's like. But maybe YouTube can. Believe me, it gets more interesting when you get to the higher level areas. Lots more swooping and whatnot.

I really was struggling to get Mal beyond 18 and 19 to level 20. SO ... I was forced to go to areas that were a little bit higher level so she could grind (kill stuffs). One quest she picked up asked that she gather these vortices that were floating around some of the cities. She never made it to the level necessary to complete the quest, but that didn't stop me from trying. ;O)

I thought this person's character was very cute, so I took pictures. Look at the detail on her outfit. :O)

NEAT! :O)

Can you say GRAPHICS GLITCH?!

Hello, whale-like manatee-like creature. :O)

SO ... when Mal FINALLY reached level 20 (YAY!) ... she was asked (forced) to return to the newbie area to talk to Munin. Remember Munin? Then he sent her to talk to those three Daevas that she talked to once upon a time (before her ascension).

The last Daeva she spoke with sent her on some kinda "spirit quest". I took pictures, cuz the place was really neat. But if you looked down ... weird vertigo. :O))

Umm ... 'kay?

So ... she basically teaches you how to use "Stigma Stones" - something that is supposed to boost your power or something like that. And she asks you to defeat some dude using this new skill in Stigam Stones ... Mal lost. :O(

But she still was allowed to learn the skill. :O)) The Stigma Stone she got while on her "spirit quest" - she didn't get to keep. *sniffles* But she did visit a Stigma Master in Pandaemonium and learned a different one (for the level she was at). She never got a chance to try it out though. *smacks fo'head*

Shot of a GORGEOUS statue at Morheim Fortress.

Chillin'.

Heh. As I said - I never got to try out Mal's new Stigma Stone skill ... cuz I switched over to Ladybihiya on the Triniel server, and basically played with her for the rest of the beta.

Ain't she purrrrty?

I decided to work on her Aether skill as well.

I lubs how the sunlight streams through the canopy here.

By the waterfall ... I'm calling you-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Here there be creepy slime creatures.

WORK that collect skill, gurl! She is level 13 in this shot I do believe ... or 14?

She gots a new shoulder pad - her first! *jiggles*

One of the legion peeps was kind enough to give her a sword. At the time he gave it to her, she was level 13 and unable to wield it. But ... she is DEFINITELY 14 in this shot, cuz the sword could only be equipped by level 14 and up. BOOYAH!

I keep patting myself on the back at how pretty I made her. :O))

She's no wallflower ... but I really wish she wouldn't blink when I'm trying to photograph her. :O) *snickers*
